More than 500 volunteers who applied to Istanbul 2023 have assembled at the Olympic House for celebrating the International Volunteer Day.
Istanbul 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships volunteers gathered at Turkish National Olympic Committee’s Olympic House in Ataköy. Most of the attending volunteers were selected with an evaluation period following the three-month registration process conducted on the Istanbul 2023 official website.
During the function, LOC President Yasin Taş has welcomed and thanked all the volunteers who make possible the big sports events. Volunteers had great conversations in the three-hour meeting, and they celebrated the International Volunteer Day on December 5 as well.
During the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships, roughly 500 volunteers in all 15 departments will assist enormously for the event’s success.
